I've heard her story and seen her personal footage before, the real story here is about a horrible doctor and the families this surgeon gave hope to. Id like even more information about the legacy of the patients he killed and the colleagues that tried to stop him. The story I want to hear more about how insanely hard it is to stop a bad doctor and what happens to those who try. Why do hospitals get forgiven for covering for a physician who kills. How can this be prevented in the future. The story of romantic heartbreak is interesting but they are not of equal measure. There is more than one ego featured here.
Outlast is a poorly executed or scripted show, which ever you want to believe. Did they plan on a show where they have lunatics sabotaging contestants ? It really appeared that the contestants who were appalled at the underhanded tactics were surprised and disheartened.
This is not a survival show. It is drama where the producers decided to go full fiction a few episodes in. It's sad that Netflix even bothered to air this. Survival shows are on every streaming platform and have a good size audience, look for some that actually have articulate contestants on them. People may want to see the train wreck but I'd much rather see some real skill.

This series gives the families a platform to speak to the audience about their experiences with the red flags they saw in a dangerous family member, I think it actually gives us things to watch for in personalities of people we meet. It has so many episodes that show how parents have tried to get help and could not get real help.
It has a limited amount of reenactments which I find so bad on many crime shows that it makes them unwatchable. I think the show has usually been respectful to the victims. This episode throws accountability right out the door. Quite a platform for this father to preach from. So disappointed.
