Death Note (2017)
What were they thinking?
They wanted to set "Deathnote" in America? Fine. Guess what? THERE ARE ASIANS IN AMERICA. (I do NOT buy the story that they couldn't find ANY Asian-Americans who spoke "fluent English!") More importantly, they missed a perfect moment of "fan casting" that would have garnered them a HUGE boost in ratings; GEORGE TAKAI as Inspector (Detective) Yagami! That would have gotten you SO many geeks checking out your movie and you dropped that ball.
Deception (2018)
I'll be watching this.
I don't see the complaints about "The Mentalist." The concept of; plucky, male amateur working with solid no-nonsense female professional has been around since "Remington Steele!" It's a format that's open for interpretation and THIS show is working with illusionists. I enjoyed the cat and mouse game and I'll be watching this show on a regular basis.

Actually, I have _not_ seen this film. I just want to point out that it is _not_ lost and has be transferred to video.
I did an amazon.com search and found several listings for the film
I can't link to the amazon site. This group considers that "too long" a word. However if you search for "The Singing Princess," you should be able to find it.
I'm trying to present this information, but IMDb wants "ten" lines of text with no junk.
I don't want to get into trouble, but I don't have a lot else to say on the matter.
