When it comes to TV dramas with unique angles, UK productions never disappoint.
As a male, I know it is very unlikely that such a law will pass given the reality of our society but this TV series imagines a situation where it does. Where to prevent violence towards women by strangers especially at night, men are prohibited from being outside between 7pm and 7am.
If acts of violence are committed, who would have done it? Are women also capable of doing to themselves what men have done for years? Is a fair investigation without bias possible? Would the men accept this type of law? Is it capable of letting us know how women have felt and complained about for years? What would such a society be like and is it sustainable? These are some of the plot points examined in the most entertaining and suspense-filled manner on this show, Curfew.
The cast so far is great, with a few familiar faces like Sarah Parish from shows like "Bancroft" and the more recent "Industry". While the unraveling of the story has its good, bad and impossible sides, I am four episodes in and give it a 7 out of 10 for making me binge-watch it.
Ignore the rate-bombing from you know who. It is a really good show.

I thought this was the sequel to Die Hart 2 but I see that they have edited it into a film. Anyway, I found it hilarious. From John Cena, to Ben Schwartz and of course Natalie Emmanuel...they were all funny.
When his heist movie "Lift" came out, I was like Kevin has finally graduated into an Action Movie star, thanks to John Travolta. Jean Reno who was the villain there was his Agent who recommended Action Hero camp in this Die Hart.
I understand that people do not like Kevin Hart for similar reasons they decided not to like Nickelback or Jennifer Lopez. So, that is the reason for the low rating of the film. In contrast the TV series (which is the same film broken into episodes) was nominated for multiple Primetime Emmy awards.
I am glad the TV series version (which will become Die Hart 3) has been greenlit. Ignore the ratings and negative reviews and check it out. It is entertainment and you have nothing to lose.

Because J. Lo is the b***ch of the season, it seems trendy to hate her. I do not. I love her and her work. She always puts in the work regardless of any negativity and I admire her work ethic.
I wanted to love this film because of the haters but I think it could have been much better. My 3 issues are:
Besides the above, the film is not too bad. Just a typical action/sci-fi. I want to see J. Lo act/produce a much better Sci-Fi film soon.

- She spent too long whining about how she mistrusts AI, and that could have been done better.
- For something with such a drastic result, it should have been a bit harder to do ***(spoiler)*** with Harlan.
- It is a bit predictable.
