This film has received so much hate because it shares the same name and basic premise as the amazing film from 1994. The Crow is not just that one film, it's a comic book that has had multiple different avenging souls this Eric is one of those and a very good one at that.
Having watched the first telling of this story as a 17yr old to watch this film as a 47yr old, this is not the Brandon Lee movie from 30yrs ago it is The Crow for the world we live in now and if in another 30yrs they make another retelling and it is as good as this I will also recommend it!
WATCH THIS FILM WITH AN OPEN MIND AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

There's a lot of negative reviews floating around for this show, I find it hard to agree with any of the points raised. Found the show to be well acted with plenty of twists and turns, a good mix of thriller, physiological horror, action and drama to make me watch multiple episodes in a sitting. I would highly recommend this show to anyone who likes to be engaged in what they are watching.
I think the role of Cross was played really well by Aldis Hodge yes he is very angry but after you've watched the first episode you'll understand why.
Ryan Eggold is brilliant and haunting as Ed Ramsey, a massive change from his role in Nee Amsterdam.
People are complaining about the lighting been too dark, I never found it to be an issue, maybe my TV is better than theirs, who knows?!?
The Ford product placement was even handled well, especially the comment when he gets his new Mustang out of his garage.
Please don't be put off by the bad reviews, give it a try I'm sure you'll be hooked. Now fans have just got to wait for season 2!

Bloody loved this film, all the negative reviews must be from people who didn't really consider what they were watching, it's a zombie heist movie set in Las Vegas with a team lead by Dave Bautista directed by Zack Synder. Looks great, gore fest with big guns of both types! Oscar winner? NO! Saturday night beer movie? YES! And if that's what you want you should watch it!
