Femmina (1998)
Could be in the same league as UNFAITHFUL, if not for weak script!
First of all the performance are just great, especially by the lead actress, she portrays all the emotions perfectly.
The film starts of well..we learn by their interaction that all is not well. The husband is too busy with 'work', and not only does he neglects his wife,he also belittles her. One day while being out, she confronts a young man and visibly he ignites a spark in her. From then on the film starts to crumble, the transition from casual fling to an obsessive affair is not developed properly. While their chemistry is great, we don't understand why they're so heavily obsessed with each other. We also don't see any angst from them either.
Erotic scenes are really well done, if story was developed properly they would have been even more effective.

Pretty average!
Agree with first review that it felt realistic when it started out, bt got more and more unrealistic by the time we are here..bt it still had the lead actor's charisma and some really tense moments that you just couldn't stop not binging. Bt i felt this season really lacked interesting characters and there was really no tension whatsoever.. we don't care about anyone, even about our lead guy.. just nothing! Felt like they just rewrote the character of joe, he's not the joe we know. I just hope it gets a little better in part 2 or next season (it it is on cards) otherwise i see no hope. I don't know what to say,doesn't feel much great especially when you were really waiting for it from a long time.
Vikingulven (2022)
The story that could have been told in 30 minutes takes 1 hour extra!
First of all, i really wanted to like this movie. I even skipped watching it's trailer so to enjoy the movie without knowing anything about it.
The problems are plenty here, 1st is the movie isn't even sure what it wants to be either a horror or a drama and succeeds in neither department. You don't feel about any character. You just wait and wait for things to happen bt nothing.. only in the last 30 minutes does the movie picks some pace. And no it's not a slowburner or anything like that, just plain irritating to this point. Performances are okay, nothing exceptional. The problem is you don't watch these movies for performances or decent story , you just wanna have some silly fun and spend the time. You won't believe that there's is almost no violence and gore in this supposed to be "werewolf" movie. And coming to the actual "werewolf" of this movie the lesser we talk about it is better, it looks like something from a low budget video game. Overall this movie was a disappointment of epic proportions., Probably one of the worst "horror" movie I've ever seen.
Black Bird: The Place I Lie (2022)
Easily one of the best episodes ever in the history of cinema
This episode broke me. The character of Jessica will remain with you for a long time even after you complete the series.. Nothing like you can anticipate at the beginning.. writing is just top notch!!
Pet Puraan (2022)
Surprisingly a good show!
I was not expecting much from this show..as most of the series out there are either pretty boring or filled with immense cliches. This is one i would say surprisingly entertains as well as touches an unexplored topic in Indian television industry and that too in non preachy way. Best thing is episodes are just 30 mins and it's just a 6 episode series..you don't get bore throughout. Highly recommended.. especially to Marathi audience 👍
Gehraiyaan (2022)
I have watched a different film..
I don't know if I have watched a different film than others..bt in my opinion this movie in no way glorifies infidelity/cheating. It's a complex film dealing with complex human emotions. Having been impressed by shakun batra's work earlier I was highly anticipating this movie..and i can surely say it fulfills my expectations. Performances are just exceptional..i have to say I was not expecting siddhanth chaturvedi to be as good as he was in this.. Ananya also plays her part good.. could be better though. And i think nothing has to be said about Naseeruddin Shah and Deepika.. both are exceptional actors.
7.5/10.
The Silent Sea (2021)
Solid Sci-fi drama from Korea!
I don't know why people are rating it low..were they expecting space horror? Probably. Despite some loose ends it's still a nice watch. Could've been shortened by 1 or 2 episodes. Bt still liked it.
83 (2021)
"Apni aukaat se zyada khelna padega..."
These are the words that Kapil/Ranveer says to the team before Semi final! And boy..the history was made!
The best thing about '83' is that it solely focuses on cricket. The performances are just marvelous especially..the guy who played 'chika' and who can ignore Ranveer Singh..he has lived the character of Kapil Dev.. lastly all i want to say is that it's probably the best sports drama I've seen from Bollywood.

This was my second Russian feature after Sputnik (2020), a very different genre. This film provides a very close look at Russian society under Putin.

In fact they all 4 are so annoying barring egwene to some extent.
Only tolerable because of Lan mandragoran and Moiraine.
Decoupled (2021)
When the writer is also the producer of the show!
Went with bare minimum expectations...bt was really surprised after seeing the pilot. After that I was hooked! Binged the whole show in a few hours. A complete laugh riot. We have a gem of a character in "Arya".. please Netflix..we want season 2!!

A story about forgiveness!
Hats off to malayalam film industry. They keep making gems like this. Its not actually a thriller as the description says, bt an emotional drama..and very good at that.

Nice filmmaking by Umesh bist.. nice BGM and songs by arijit singh..nice performances.. over all excellent film.

Okay, don't tell me you expected shakespeare when you came here..it's exactly wht's its supposed to be..though it falls short in some department. But having said that the movie consistently watchable..and in no way a waste of time!1

I don't generally watch telugu movies. bt decided to give it a try after watching the trailer..and i must say i had a good time. Talking about the stories "RAMULA" and "LIFEX" stands out..and personally i found "PINKY" to be the weakest!

Dark, Gritty and Hard Hitting!
This has to be the best crime series from india in recent times. Performances stands out,specially from jaideep ahlawat..He has carried the entire show on his shoulders. The guy who played ansari is also excellent. In short, give it a go.
