  • 2025 is the year of the Ninja!

This was my most anticipated game of the year and we waited 13 years for this. Was it worth it? You already know. Hell yes it's worth it!

When I played the previous episode 13 years ago, I was a young boy living home with my parents, no girlfriend, no kids, no car, no career. Fast forward 13 years and here I am still living home, no kids, no girlfriend, no career, I started to loose my hair, I gained weight, my back kinda hurts all the time, but at least I have an xbox series x so that's something right? Oh and we get to enjoy this masterpiece which is awesome so it's all good.

All jokes aside, I knew I would love this game no matter what because of nostalgia, and how much this franchise means to me so I am definitely biased when it comes to Ninja Gaiden.

To say a few things about the game, here is one of my favourite additions. The camera movement was something I was not a fan of in the older games but here, omg they made it perfect. It is no longer an issue. It works flawlessly.

Yakumo (the new character) was gonna be a hit or miss. He is a massive hit! Great addition to the franchise. I love him. He is a badass.

The environment is breathtaking. We get to visit this futuristic Tokyo that has a cyberpunk feeling. I should have run through these levels like a real ninja, but instead I was walking like a tourist and enjoying the view.

The whole game has this cyberpunk/futuristic style which is amazing.

    Graphics are gorgeous.

    Performance is flawless (series x)

It's part of game pass, and I am subscribed to it but I just had to buy the physical version because come on guys, it's a new Ninja Gaiden game after 13 years.

I could talk about this masterpiece all day but I will go back and play some more and I don't want to spoil anything for you guys. The most important thing is that it's still a real Ninja Gaiden experience.

The one we were waiting for, the one we deserved.

Playing as Ryu again after all these years.. oh god.. priceless. Please play this game and you will have a wonderful time I promise. Have fun my ninjas!

  • Better in almost every way.

I'll keep it short because I want to go back to play it some more.

The game looks incredible but come on. No surprises here, we're playing a Sucker Punch game after all.

Combat is tight and responsive like in the previous game. They removed the stances but added more weapons and they are basically have the same function. It's just more fun to wield up to 4 melee weapons at the same time and keep swapping them.

They added some new mini games which are fun.

Exploring the world is much more natural here.

The main character is not as likeable and complex as the legendary Jin Sakai. But Atsu (new main character) is also well written.

I know a lot of people dislike the actress who plays the main character because of her social media posts and I get that, but her performance is elite. You don't have to like her as a person, but as an actress, she did very well.

So in a nutshell, it's more of the first game, little iteration here and there but not a major change but I don't think they had to change much because tsushima was near perfection already.

Oh and we have a pet wolf who helps us. She has her own skill tree and she is a badass.

One of the best games of the year but we all knew it. Incredible game, and I can't stop playing so I will go back and continue. Have fun and I hope you guys will have as much fun as I do.

  • They improved perfection.

I considered Hades 1 the best rouge like game ever. Then I played this one and we have a new king. Or I should say queen.

They improved on almost everything while keeping the game very similar to the first one.

Art style was breathtaking in the first, but here? Oh my god... They made it look even more beautiful. The most stylish game I have ever seen.

The voice acting is perfect as well. Every single one of them.

Our new main character is just as charming and charismatic as the first game's protagonist. They are siblings after all.

She has a large number of weapons and they play completely differently. Each run will be a totally new experience.

Oh and the music. My god. Yes, it is even more epic than the first one. I know it's hard to believe that they could improve on everything but these guys did it.

Masterpiece and w must play. Even if you are not a fan of rouge liked. Why do I say this? Because I used to hate rouge likes. Then I played Hades and now here I am, a rouge like fan.

Enjoy this game and please give it a try. You won't regret it I promise.
