I never thought a horror film from the perspective of a sweet doggo would make me feel many emotions while watching it, but this one did. There are times when you come across a unique film and this is one of those times. Good boy centers on a dog called Indy with most of the action being seen as him being the main character. He moves into a house with his owner todd, that belonged to his grandfather just for a little while, whist his girlfriend, sister or wife vera talks occassionly on the phone to him. But this house does hold some dark truths. Theres no awful jumpscares here but we do get some disturbing scenes and really its more unsettling because of how human this film is. Indy is a gem to watch. This film is shot beautifully with sounds that work and overall it might just be one of the best movies of this year.
Maggie moores is almost a perfect combination of dark humor and comedy, most of the dark humor of which comes from nick mohammads character. Its a odd case where two woman with the same name are found dead and officers k ready and jordan sanders, played by hamm are sent on an almost wild goosechase to find the culprit. I think its pretty well written and the style was good. Its casted nicely and its a pretty good mystery to watch.
The forth movie in the twisted universe sees the beloved deer get turned into a mutant by drinking waste thats infested a watering hole. And now his on a rampage to seek revenge. Getting in the cross hairs are xena and son benji I thought this film was a good edition. I would say that bambi coudve been animatronic and not full cgi but I understand and I still liked the design of him. Its a brutal movie but overall it was enjoyable edition to the franchise.
