I am noticing a pattern with all the 1 star reviews here. They all seem to be writing a line and then missing a line and then writing on the next line. Why would every 1 star review be written like that. It makes me think that there are lots of fake reviewers trying to bring the score down.
OK over to the review. This film is excellent in highlighting the behaviour of the good old American police and their treatment of young black men. It shows that people just want to get on in life and it should matter not which neighbourhood they come from. Unfortunately there are people in the US that are already at a disadvantage just because they happen to be born in a particular area.
This film has a very powerful message and deserves to be seen. The message needs to be heard. It has the power to reach out and touch everyone that goes out to the movies. Waken your senses and go see this film.

Not only is this a brilliant film but if you watch it in 3D it becomes an amazing experience. I have read some negative reviews on IMDb and I don't get it. If you want a 100% accurate view of space then you should watch a 3D documentary about space. If you want to be 100% entertained and be on the edge of your seat throughout then go watch this movie.
My wife and I went to see this and were mesmerised from the start. I found myself totally engrossed and felt as though I experienced everything Sandra Bullock's character experienced as I was taken on a journey I would hate to be taken on for real.
Go see this film in an Imax 3D theatre, nothing else will do it justice.

I think the reason why some people are marking this low is because of the subject matter and not the quality of the film. Ill Manors has a message, and having seen first hand what we in Great Britain are becoming as a society, this film tries to cram the content of this message into 2 hours. This is Ben Drew's directorial debut. In my opinion, he has done a pretty good job especially with the blending of music in to film to tell characters back stories. Katya's story in particular is played out exceptionally in rhyme. The whole Soundtrack is very cool. If you decide to watch this, be prepared, some of it is very hard to watch.
