Chucky: Chucky Actually (2022)
Best Christmas TV Special Ever
This season has been absurd and gory and I have loved every episode. Absolutely incredible episode, loved every minute of it. Has a lot of fun with the Christmas theme, and progresses the story in some very satisfying ways with Glen/Glenda, Nica, and the mayor lady. Will be rewatching closer to Christmas. I don't care if the story is good, as long as the show continues to be this fun I want many more seasons. Probably best episode of the season, and honestly wasn't really liking Andy and Kyle this season so don't mind that they aren't in this episode (though I loved them in season 1). Delivers as a great Chucky episode and a great Christmas special.
Dexter: New Blood (2021)
Every episode is incredible and intense, bad reviews are nostalgia losers
All the bad reviews are just people who love the original show too much to enjoy something unique that isn't a carbon copy, which is the lamest type of nostalgia. Last episode (sixth) was perfection, every single minute was filled with 10/10 storytelling. This show stays faithful to Dexter (og series) and understands what made it so good, but it also is able to do it's own, refreshing thing. I'm shocked at how entertaining this show is. Every character is amazing (likeable or hateable, they all have great depth), acting is Emmy worthy, music is great, each episode ends super well, storyline is setup incredibly in first episode till this point, the show even knows how to not overdramatically wait for a plot twist. When a character is hinted to have a twist, the show doesn't waste time and just acknowledges it quickly.
American Horror Story: The Future Perfect (2021)
Worst AHS Finale
This entire second season was just not compelling and lame. I somewhat enjoyed the black and white scenes and the color scenes got better by the third episode, but it's still just a lame nothing story. While this might not be the worst AHS episode ever, it was definently the worst AHS finale. Even when other seasons ended poorly (roanoke, apocalypse) they still had something exciting or cool (Roanoke's finale was entertainingly campy and had some cool kills from the roanoke colony, apocalypse had a few awesome scenes with the witches), but this finale was a boring story. If this were a YouTube scary short, then maybe this would be good, but for a huge and widely popular show like American Horror Story, this felt like a waste of time. The only thing I cared about by this episode was if there was some interesting reveal about the alien's intentions and even though there was some twists they were all disappointing. Past the 5th episode, this season is not rewatch worthy at all.
Sharknado 5: Global Swarming (2017)
Absolutely ridiculous and free to do anything
This movie continues further into be so horrible, ridiculous, and stupid that is entertaining, enjoyable, creative, and glorious. Not the best, but great. Sharknado was originally a cheesy shark movie with a tornado, but this franchise has gone berserk. All hell breaks lose in this movie, but I love how this ends and cant wait for Sharknado 6, this movie honestly seems like a set up for sharknado the final chapter or something. This movie was hilarious and great with all it's bad movie elements, but it is obvious they acknowledge that and go for it. I still like the story somewhat and the characters even though it is mostly ridiculous.
Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
No more remakes this should be the new spiderman movie series
This is one of the best spidermans, way better then the amazing spider 1 and 2 i didn't really like those a whole lot. Tom Holland was amazing as spiderman. I liked that Zendaya was here. I thought there were a lot of suspenseful scenes. Loved the idea of having homecoming for this. Everything came together very well, especially having this be in the marvel universe with the avengers and iron man. There should be lots of sequels and continuation to this story, no remakes at least for a long time.
Andi Mack (2017)
Very good show with some bad attempts at being cool/funny
This a great show that has much more quality than other Disney channel TV shows. I am starting to watch each week to see what new twist or surprise there is. It is full of positive messages and role models. I divide the story into 2 parts, Andi's family life, and Andy's friend life. The family side of the story is 10/10, but the school side is 4/10 for me. Andy's friends are good friends, but I kind of don't really like them that much. I don't like Andy's crush on Jonah, cause I don't see what is so special about Jonah. He is a nice and happy boy, but I don't see what makes him so amazing that Andi likes him so much. The side plot of Cyrus trying to impress Jonah is dumb. I don't care so much when they are showing that. Also there are a lot of cringey and weird moments when the show tries to be cool and funny. Not saying it isn't funny at all, cause it is. Andi's party is an example. Besides all that, I think this is a great show should become more popular.
Friday the 13th Part III (1982)
Really fun, dumb, and sometimes creepy
This is definitely one of my favorite Jason movies! Whenever i watch it i make sure it's night time, I'm alone, with popcorn and 3D glasses. This is just such a great early 80s slasher movie! The acting is fine for me, but at times i can notice how bad it is. The deaths are pretty good. Jason in this movie is creepy looking. Something that may explain why i love this is when it's night time, everyone is doing their own thing, and they are slowly being killed by Jason. When i watch this, i always get creepied out, and it's really scary. This is the scariest Jason movie. So overall, this movie, along with the theme, is just awesome!
Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981)
Good, but worst Jason sequel.
This is my least favorite Jason movie. But since I'm not a hater, I usually like most movies, and this was pretty OK, but not exactly a good/great movie. After re watching it a couple times, it's the most boring compared to other Jason movies. I think it had a good opening, but was one of the boring parts. But then i think it got better, when they starting doing some funny scenes while introducing the characters. I think the characters were great in this movie. Especially Mark the guy in the wheelchair. I thought he was a cool guy and i wish he could've lived and spend the night in a cabin with that girl. The deaths were good and creative. Also i think Jason in a sack mask was creepier. And Jason being fooled by Ginnie with that trick was also creative. And of course that confusing ending if Paul is still alive. Overall Part II is kinda boring and stupid, but still good since I love Jason movies.
Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers (1988)
Im a happy camper!
Out of all the Sleepaway Camp movies, this is definitely my favorite. Also if i had a 10 favorite movies ever, this would definitely be on that list! This movie is just totally fun and awesome! It starts out with showing what new Angela is like, and gives an awesome rock song giving a feel of what kinda movie this is! They did good with all the characters, and i really rooted for Molly, the good girl, and that guy she liked. And when they die most of them are shown to die for being a bad camper, which i like. And the deaths are really creative and great! I think Angela was great in this and i don't think she is annoying like most people say, I think she awesome and has great one liners when she kill someone! One of my favorite scenes is when those teens are dressed as Freddy and Jason, and Angela kills them as Letherface. One more thing, i think the happy campers song was perfect for this movie, loved it. So overall this is a very fun slasher film, i love this movie its awesome!
Friday the 13th (1980)
A great start to what would sequel after sequel become an epic horror movie trilogy!
This is my second least favorite, but the thing is since i love this series so much i love every Friday the 13th movie, that still means that this is a great movie, a great original classic, even though i like the remake better than this. This movie had epic bloody deaths that lucky didn't have any good parts cut by the MPAA. It has a good pace since it wasn't a sequel. Before the actual intentional scary parts and chase scenes and stuff, i enjoyed seeing them introducing the characters, even though i don't care a lot about most of them. It does seem to get a bit boring at times just a little. And i saw the ending was made in a one of a kind way. And to me music can make a movie way more better, and the music for the chase scenes, the theme, and that great ending music. Overall, i like every other Jason movie except Part II better than this, I still think this is great to help give a good vibe around Friday the 13th or Halloween.
