There's something about this movie that resonates beyond its Sci fi qualities. It's the story of a son in search of his father and a quest to the infinite and beyond to kill a monster. It has good visuals, a slow but attentive pace and some thrilling scenes in space. It's allright.
I've watched a lot a bad horror flics and I thought this one would be one more in that lot. So I've watched it thinking that when it became unbearable I would stop wachting it. But interestingly enough I survived until the end. Sure, some of the characters are bad written and some of the effects are naive (even unnecessary), but the premise is alright (An homage to Treasure of Sierra Madre) and it has some good moments. One thing that bothered me a lot: there's no need to repeat so many times the Indian curse. It was very clear since the epilogue.
