The drovers are back together after spending all their money on liquor and women. Gil Favor meets them, they plan to leave for San Antonio to start a new drive. But Favor is arrested and jailed for horse stealing.
The second half of this show is pretty good. Unfortunately, the first half is very slow. The drovers spend 15 minutes talking about their hangovers; there is absolutely no action. Then we get some slapstick comedy with Wishbone, and a prank pulled by Gil Favor. It's all very tedious.
Finally we get the action. Gil Favor gets arrested; it's obviously a set-up. The Sheriff seems a bit off; something isn't quite right. When the Sheriff's wife enters the story, it becomes even more apparent that something is wrong.
Lots of action at the end, a blind man relying (as he says) on his ear, his touch, and his sense of smell, vs. The Bad Guy and his henchman.
One more bit of comic relief featuring Mushy and a cute School Teacher closes the show out.
Again, a good show, but it should have been a 30-minute show, not one hour.
The show could have rated 8, maybe 9 stars, but that first half dings those down to a 5 or a 6 star rating.
