Decided to check this one out a few days ago while I was mindlessly scrolling through Tubi, and I don't regret it!
Watch this movie! It's a well-made drama that centers around two pretty interesting and unique characters (Danny Smith and Farina). They were very compelling characters, and I also found the Mr. Khan character to be a standout as well.
I just really enjoy the perspective of this movie, as it's entertaining while also giving me an insight into the Muslim experience. If you need a Tubi (which, as a reminder, is FREE!) movie to watch, then I definitely recommend giving this one a shot. You won't regret it.

I caught this at the Farm to Film Fest this year and it was honestly my favorite short I've seen in a while. I usually don't watch shorts to be completely honest, but something about the opening scene really pulled me in and I stayed for the entire duration. Highly recommend it, the acting was really good and I enjoyed the direction.
Charlie and Amir were just so amazing, and the story was really compelling and emotionally grounded. The dads were really really good too, I enjoyed the character of Ahmed a lot.
If you're looking for a great understated gem for this year, I would definitely recommend this one.
