I started to watch the TV Serial Vengança a few weeks ago to practice my Portuguese. It has been rewarding but i want to highlight a very important detail regarding the character of the psychotherapist.
TV Serials shape thought, educate, inform, and amuse the majority of the people watching watching them. Such, the information has to be very accurate, updated, and well transmitted. Ethical principals are crucial, and have to be respected and displayed accordingly to reality. Mentioning, confidentiality, anonymity, privacy, and romantic relationship boundaries are basic when depicting such character. A wrong image harms many people involved in this circle.
This is a point I would strongly lean on to elaborate, review with higher consideration, because maybe not intentionally, but can build an undesirable perception, even if transmitted 9 years ago.
