This adds nothing to the now standard quirky 'Lundun' jolly jape, genre of film.
We see a lot of the usual suspects from these 'Lundun' based films appearing here, with just enough newer faces added in to keep it relatively fresh.
Why the Mod aspect? I don't know, as it could've been made about any group of people, maybe even East End Market stall holders...Oh wait a minute, Eastenders has had that covered for the last 40 odd years.
It wouldn't surprise me if many in this cast have appeared in Eastenders.
I don't know what the plot was. Something about drugs going missing...blah...blah...blah. Cockney oi oi...Cockney oi oi... Cockney oi oi. The End.

Not a bad film in all fairness. Very clearly made on a tight budget (i believe it cost £50k), and that has to be taken into consideration when rating it.
In fairness, the acting wasn't bad, and about what you'd expect for £50k, in truth.
The editing was the main thing which let this down. It was a bit jumbled, and all over the place, particularly in the early part of the film, where they're obviously looking to lay the foundations for the final act, when all the main characters would come together. Yes it could've been done smoother, but it got the job done.
I'm not going to say that this came to life in the final third of the film, but the story definitely ran smoother than the previous thirds. It was a predictable ending, which you saw coming from quite a way off, but it was somewhat satisfying.
Overall, it's not a great film, but as i said, with the £50k budget, they did very well.

The first thing that hits you with this film, is the trench. It's far too deep, far too wide, and the walls are just soil, with very little buttressing. The walls would cave in after the first rain.
The film has that look of an early 80's BBC drama production, which were all very clearly filmed in a studio.
The bombardment which would've been deafening, sounds like it's taking part several miles away, rather than only a couple of hundred yards.
We see 'No mans land', and it's a lush green, grassy meadow. It would be a muddy field at this point.
This film is too clean, tidy, and quiet. There's no madness, no horror, it's like a holiday camp.
Not a good film. There's far better out there.
