The current 4.5 rating for this episode is ridiculous.
I understand the ending isn't satisfying for folks wanting a nice little bow on the season and a happy ending but this isn't a limited series. It'll be returning for a second season and Bodie's redemption story will continue.
Honestly, the decision Bodie makes is in line with everything the character did all season long - he's putting others ahead of himself. Why should he stop doing that because it negatively impacts him?
This is a solid episode with drama and intrigue throughout and, honestly, a final decision that gives us something to look forward to in season two. If it was happily ever after would there be any reason to continue the story?

The mountain lion in this episode is the single worst use of CGI I have ever seen in a television show. I'd say it looks amateurish but I imagine many amateurs could've actually done a better job. If you're going to do something this poorly why do it at all? I can't believe this is something that made it on network TV.
I don't have a whole lot to actually say about the episode. It's pretty standard fare for "The Neighborhood." Calvin provides some good laughs. Dave provides some good eye rolls.
I just couldn't let the horrific CGI slide and felt the need to bring it up. The show should be ashamed of itself.
