I've always liked Anna Friel. IMO I think she is a very good actress. I was pretty much fully engaged thru all of the episodes and that's unusual because I get bored very easily, but the story lines were good and certainly kept my attention. So yeah, considering all the othersdross out there, I can definitely recommend all 3 of this series.

I actually signed up to Stan just to watch this thing. Not happy.1

I'm Australian, i like to follow what Aussies are doing/have done in the world of film but, seriously, I cannot understand the high praise and reasonably high rating.

This series has some of THE worst acting i have ever seen (except for Fimmel) and even he has lost a bit of his gloss.

And everyone is so goddamn wooden. Izzy and her sister in particular. And did i mention the deadset god-awful acting!! And i don't even want to find out why Jimmy wanted his face to get all beat up; I fair dinkum just don't give a rat's arse! (But I suspect he's "a bad dad" or something & there's a sad kid somewhere? Whatevs.)

It's just 3 episodes in (I wanted to quit at end of ep2 but, to be fair, I truly forced myself to watch ep3) and i just can't take anymore - it's too embarrassing.
