Review of Ride On (2023)
Jackie Chan's Ride On is a heartwarming and deeply moving film that deserves far more recognition than it has received. This isn't your typical Jackie Chan action movie; while it delivers some thrilling stunt work, the true magic lies in its emotional depth and meaningful story.
The film revolves around the bond between a washed-up stuntman, Luo (played by Chan), and his loyal horse, Red Hare. Jackie Chan's performance is nothing short of phenomenal, capturing a mix of humor, vulnerability, and nostalgia. It's refreshing to see him embrace a role that reflects on his career and legacy, offering both a tribute to the stunt world and a commentary on the struggles of aging in an ever-changing industry.
The relationship between Luo and Red Hare is the heart of the movie, drawing genuine tears and laughs. The storytelling is simple yet profound, blending action, drama, and heartfelt moments seamlessly. The stunts, as always, are jaw-dropping, and knowing Jackie Chan's dedication to practical effects makes them even more impressive.
Despite its brilliance, Ride On seems to have flown under the radar, overshadowed by bigger blockbusters. This is a shame because it's a film that offers something unique-an intimate, emotional journey paired with action and a heartfelt message about loyalty, family, and never giving up on your dreams.
For fans of Jackie Chan and anyone who loves stories with heart, Ride On is a must-watch. It's a cinematic gem that deserves far more appreciation and recognition. Don't miss it!

Thanks to Cinemax TV program I had watched this low rated Bulgarian movie. I'm Bulgarian and never heard this one before so I'm surprised how black and white recorded movie could took my attention. Literally watched it on 100 % interest. It's a movie for the things of the life especially shown from the Bulgarian side. People in the small villages are with simple minds , they are hard to accept the new and the unknown and in this particular situation is perfect way to understand what is it. Also give you a good point that everyone is equal on this planet. Please watch it you won't regret for it.
I felt the movie so much , it's makes me think for the small things how big they are actually, amazing acting from all and this debut of the producer, we just can't ask for more. Looking forward for his next movie . Top story all the way , thank you for this creation. Give it with two hands - 10 stars.
