The series is good at the level of high-school supernatural drama with light comedy. Now don't mistake it having similarities with TVD or Originals. The world is very much evolved with a lot of new species , not being just limited to Witches/Vamps/Werewolf.
It is very enjoyable but one should totally shan't ask for more. enjoy for what it is.
