Absolutely holds the attention from the start. It seemed so real, all the characters are credible. It shows the very great contrast that exists in how investigative procedures are carried out between different police departments. In particular the brutality by one set of investigators toward their rape victim as against the professionalism and empathy by other investigators. The director and cast are to be congratulated on a fine piece of work.
A film which in the opening credits informs the viewer that London is in the United Kingdom doesn't improve from that point. Perhaps it benefits, as a lesson in basic geography, residents of a country who are generally ignorant of the wider world. Complete garbage, what is Gary Oldman doing in this.
Some of the worst acting and script I have seen. To describe the acting as wooden is an insult to decent timber. There are far too many films of this low quality and more over rating reviews. I suggest review scoring is amended to allow negative scoring. I would then rate this -10. Watching paint dry would be better use of your time.
