I understand that Turner's character was necessarily emotionally closed off, but Bana has always been exceptionally wooden, going all the way back to 2005's "Munich." Even Wison Bethel, the actor playing Shane McGuire, another strong, silent type, had more expressiveness.
The plot was nearly generic, save for the twist in the actions of the primary murder victim. And O'Neil's strong carthartic scene rang false: his character wasn't set up to need that kind of catharsis.
If Bana plays Turner in S2, I won't watch the show.
