Reading some of the reviews,,,its obvious that some people has never been the victims,were bullies themselves,and don't bullying and/or don't understanding the lasting effects that this has in people. I think Lila was in all he right to be cautious with Glenn. Bullying can have a lasting effect on people,mess with your self esteem,self worth,mental health and social life. Lila wasn't immature like some people commented here,she was in all her right to be the way she was around Glenn. And sometimes a simple "I'm sorry" doesn't suffice.

With that been said,I think Glenn should've done much more to gain Lila's trust and.trust,not just a few gifts cause he was her "secret santa"... Themes like bullying should be treat more seriously in TV shows and movies and not take like "kids will be kids"or "that was so long ago,get over it" kind of thing.

After all, I like the movie overall.

EXCELLENT ORIGINAL SOAP OPERA!! MANY TIMES IMITATED,AN NOT EQUALIZED. THE MAIN COUPLE REMAINS A FAVORITES AMONG FANS OF THE GENRES AFTER MORE THAN 35 YEARS.

THE STORY IS VERY CLASSIC AND EVEN MYSOGINIST,BUT IS VERY WELL WRITTEN AND ACTED. THE WHOLE CAST MADE A TERRIFIC JOB AND STILL REMEMBER TODAY FOR THEIR CHARACTERS.... THE MAIN SONGS ARE CLASSIC TOO MADE THE MALE LEAD A LEGITIMATE BALLADIST OF THE 80S. I MEAN, WHAT MORE CAN YOU SAY ABOUT ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS AND WATCHED TEENOVELAS OF ALL TIMES? IF SOMEONE S INTERESTED IN WATCH IT AND KNOWS SPANISH,IS IN YT COMPLETE.

Even though this telenovela is the 2nd remake (what a surprise) of a Venezuela original callled "La Doña"(1972),this version is the most famous ever. Even more than the last version of Lucero "Soy tu dueña" from 2010. When this soap opera was on in 95' (I was 20 yrs old) people couldnt get enough of it. When the cast came to Puerto Rico (whem Im from) the streets and the channel that was thransmitting it were full of people wanting to see them,it was pandemonium. The main couple is one of my favorites ever. The anthagonist came swinging with her spactacular character of Laura. Of Very good remake and to me it remain the very best among them.
