After watching Wicked: Part Two For Good, I couldn't shake the feeling that the first film still stands stronger-especially for a musical movie. The original movie offered a richer theatrical experience - the costumes were far more captivating, the musical and songs are memorability.
In this sequel, the music feels noticeably less impactful. The songs don't linger the way the first film's soundtrack did,. The storytelling in Part Two also moves too quickly. Instead of flowing naturally, the plot feels cut into pieces-rushed, forced, and pushed toward an ending that doesn't unfold with the same graceful rhythm as the first film.
While the world of Wicked is still beautiful, I believe the first film remains the stronger, more cohesive experience. Part Two tries to soar, but its uneven pacing and less memorable music make it hard to reach the same heights.

This film is pure TRASH!! Hanung shows no progress as a director-each time he makes a "true story" film, it gets worse. Ipar Adalah Maut is based on a real story that went viral, but honestly, listening to the full version on popular podcasts is far more interesting than watching this movie.
The plot feels cheap and exaggerated, filled with unrealistic scenes and forced emotions. The storytelling loses its connection to reality - exaggerating but unfortunately it makes the story so BAD! What makes it worse is how far the film drifts from the actual chronology of the true events. The real-life story was much more intense, emotional, and painful than this shallow adaptation. Completely waste of my time!
