GOW is an epic. Anurag Kashyap have attained the maestro point. The film bought out the naked characters of the crime breeding environment in genuine way and presented in screen clean and precise. It is not about raw record of killing spree going on for the entire runtime, rather a story between two gangs involved in illegality, politics and bloodshed not to mention about sexual adultery throughout. The film is dark in content no doubt about, but you will understand the reason for vengeance and blooðthirstiness. Anurag Kashyap have given Bollywood an immortal piece of crime film. If you could see violence in screen then see it, you will feel the reality behind all of it.
Nawazuddin is awesome as the drug addicted romantic lover, hypocrite but ruthless killer who is unpredictable and fearful. His journey towards taking revenge fir his father and brother holds the weight of the film. Manoj bajpayee is true to his role, a revenge oriented person but doing illegal job throughout. All others fits exact to the set ups. From set design to BGM, everything is awesomely real and genuine. It is not to be missed if you are a fan of RGV.
GOW is a masterpiece of crime genre. All characters including script and presentation will hold your attention to climax. You will never feel the 2.30 hours. A straight 10/10. A 96/100.

Arjun is back for classic level this time. Gone are his style of pan Indian romantic consumerism. This time he strikes hard with his real role appealing comedy romance where complex love triangle are at the center and performances taking their pace forward.
Aziz well directed the film, with a lot of potential in the script and bgm just supports the exact comic timing. Despite all this film just wholly cannot appeal to traditional set ups of society but only can refer to to changing world through bits of its characters.
Such characters were even funny in all places but taboos are also being culturally rooted which checks the film content, nevertheless....

The film is about a boy from Indian Muslim background who becomes the winner in the show "Who wants to be a millionaire". His journey from rags to riches is the storyline. The film background doesn't reflect the authentic Indian settings rather shows the socio economic status of one particular community. Danny Boyle is brutal in showcasing the lifestyle of people of that community, plus his direction is clean too.
Danny Boyle depicted the one in a million cases, to pinpoint the winner in the show. Salim, the protagony answers all the questions correctly not because of study but by dint of his experiences in real life. All these questions were a part of his life and so becoming a millionaire was easy for him. Salim, already was downtrodden, living a hard life of misery in violent environment, deserves all this money because of his sacrifices, perhaps. By hook or crook he did..
The films pace is fast, but brilliant where every detail is perfectly tied up with one another. The film making is brilliant nevertheless but personally I could not agree to the genuinely of the event. It's dramatized, with imagination, suitable for various tastes of viewers. A negative theme film with money, violence at the center, far from peaceful resolutions etc etc.
Technically well made, but still not relatable to a positive mindset. And AR Rahman winning an Oscar for jai ho does not reflect good judgement at all. A 5/10 will be the rating but to balance the present rating it would be a 1/10.
