I am simply amazed at the genius of the writers, and the riveting plot lines which are nothing short of brilliant. Add the SUPERB acting by all the main characters, the incredible directing, and you get an addictive adrenaline pumping show that has the feel of a good action movie.

If you liked the intensity of 24, this show delivers. The characters are deep, believable, likable and unlike many other TV shows today, you just NEVER know what is about to happen. Forget adjectives like predictable, in this show the writers keep changing the game every several episodes which results in a never ending thrill ride which never ceases to rivet. The biggest mistake you could do is assume you know what's about to happen in the next chapter. But you can't and yet the plot-lines are believable and credible as in any high quality action flick. Most TV shows today are rather predictable in comparison, but I also know some people like semi-predictable shows. Admittedly I am not one of them.

If, for a change, you are looking for something to keep you at the edge of your seat, something that is not shallow, not cheesy, something that gives you this elusive "you are there" feeling, look no further. Nikita is your short ticket to thrillville. A true masterpiece which gets better with every episode.

This movie is a well made family and relationship drama. It's got a good story and is accompanied by very good acting. Based on these elements alone, such movie should merit a truly decent recommendation.

However,something bigger is happening here; even bigger than the good storyline. It is called Leslie Ann Warren. Leslie Ann Warren delivers a performance so enthralling, so captivating, it was utterly mesmerizing and for me overshadowed just about anything else. Talking about Oscar worthy performance.

Warren's presence fills the screen with so much grace, presence, passion for life, charisma, and sheer liveliness, that you feel more than adequately rewarded for the time you spent watching. As far as I am concerned, Leslie Ann Warren may just be the perfect woman, at least judging from the way her character comes to life on the screen. She was sensitive, full of love, warm, full of life and on top of that was irresistibly beautiful. Not the kind of overwhelming glamorous beauty that you sometimes see in Hollywood, but the kind of beauty that warms your heart and makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Another emerging star is Bridget White, which fills the screen with such natural presence that you forget it is actually acting you are watching. Simply brilliant.

Watching those two incredible individuals delivered me a watching experience that was enjoyable, stood out from the basic story, while at the same time making it more involving, an element (involvement) often depending more on the collective quality of individual performances, that the plain storyline.

What a breath of fresh air! Finally, an action film which makes you care about the characters enough to allows you to experience their adventures, inner worlds, mutual interactions, all in a package of an enjoyable light touch beautifully enveloped with adventurous mystery.

You will not find one boring moment in this film; only non stop action, beautiful moments of interaction, and plenty of fun that is really liberating.This is not a romantic comedy by the way.

I had a fabulous time watching this movie and decided to rate it at 10 due to it being utterly refreshing compared with so many other movies that I watched recently.

It is exciting, alive, mysterious and fun. What else can you ask for? Go have a great time!
