  • Totally original and thoroughly entertaining!

I had the pleasure of attending the screening for this film at the Mann Chinese Theater in Hollywood where it was named one of the top 3 films at the FAIF Film Festival...and I can see why! It was totally entertaining. In the tradition of "Scream," this thriller also contained many moments of witty banter and comedy. However, "Shadows" was able to maintain a more serious, believable tone during the scary scenes, unlike "Scream" which had a farcical feel throughout the entire film. Thriller movies often have a tradition of attractive actors, and "Shadows" was no exception. But the acting in "Shadows" was so natural, that the characters seemed so real. The script was so well-written, that everything just flowed so smoothly. I never lost interest for one moment. It takes you on a roller coaster ride between thrills, chills, and laughs! The plot is such a unique concept! If you're looking for an original and entertaining film, check out Dan Donley's "Shadows!"
