I watched this film twice because it intrigued me so much. Definitely a solid independent art-house film. There are some deep psychological issues exposed in the characters and their dreams. I thought the acting was solid and the cinematography was fantastic. The compositions added to the storytelling by occasionally breaking the rules. It had hints of Donny Darko, but it stands on it's own two feet.
If you ever had a lost love, then this movie is for you. I thought it was really well done for and independent film. The acting was solid and the characters Beth, Sonny, and Haley stood out to me. Authentic performances. Actually all of the acting was great. Just a feel good film. Highly recommended!
This has all of the trappings of a great independent film, a solid Hollywood drama, beautiful actress, and broken family. This isn't a big budget production, but it is a solid story. I learned a lot about Jayne Mansfield's life and where she came from. If you like independent films, then I think you will enjoy this movie.
