To All The Haters Claiming This is a Hit Job on musk - ARE WRONG.
It's about a guy with the determination and vision to be FIRST in Self Driving Cars - come hell or high water.
It's not about EV's - although through his marketing genius, he became the godfather of them.
As in ALL new technology & inventions, there will always be hick ups (to put it mildly). This is film highlights the lengths he was willing to go to be The ONE.
It illustrates his willingness to do anything to snatch the gold star to so he could historically be "Thee" inventor of self driving cars -even though it wasn't a new idea whatsoever. Other companies already had it in the works.
To be fair, it could easily be argued most of his practices were common throughout history. Like the industrial revolution - almost new inventions: planes, cars, you name it, all had "growing pains" (to say it nicely) with over zealous creators.
Just as people before him, he ignored warnings and took short cuts. Unsurprisingly, people ate it up and he became god-like, not dissimilar to Steve Jobs.
For context, this came at a time when Silicon Valley was blowing up. Just like Elizabeth Holmes, there was a 'fake it 'til you make it' mentality.
I thoroughly enjoyed the facts presented here.
Love him or Loathe him, decide for yourself if he deserves either sentiment.

I suppose this series was aimed at a younger crowd, but my 'kids' are 10+ years older than the characters and I very much enjoyed this. It was refreshing to watch a genre I wouldn't normally consider because of (what I perceive) as the target age of the series.
Of course, there are typical scenarios with young adults but it had REAL BONES. A very good story line and very good performances of all the actors involved.
It was nice to see. Warren Brown, who I remember in Luther, Good Cop (ANOTHER series that should have had a second season), Strike Back just to name a few.
It's very frustrating when a series ends and you're holding your breath for the next season. They literally left me/us on a cliff edge!
Why do the powers that be keep cancelling well plotted, well written, well acted series like this>> So frustrating!

Story lines, writing are good. I actually found the themes had a fresh take on what could've been very ordinary and run of the mill.
The biggest surprise was Ciarán Hinds . I'm only used to seeing him in minor always-the-bad-guy parts. He's a much better actor than I thought.
They didn't shy away from subject matter. Season 2 was especially gruesome (in my opinion)
Kelly Reily's role gives a good performance as DI Anna Travis. However, as lovely as she looks, it just doesn't work when a copper has to sprint after a perp at a moments notice... not a chance in the pencil shirt and heels. Lol
All in all, it's a good, entertaining watch. Award worthy? Not so much, but a great binge on a rainy day. Like most UK crime series, it's a definite cut above most of the North American ones that last go on and on past their sell-by date.
