This is the story of the creation of a motorcycle club in the 60s and how the return of veterans from Vietnam entering those clubs change them for the worst. As a veteran myself whose father was a Vietnam Veteran I can attest to the situation. The acting this was outstanding .the story kept you involved. If liberally kept our interest as an audience. I can honestly say this is the first movie I have seen as a matineen in 5 years that was crowded. I would not say it was a feel good movie or a documentary type movie as much as a family With a lot of cussing and violence in it. Everybody did a great job. Tom Hardy should get an Award.
Just a depressing look at very very poor people in a very very poor people country where flesh is just another commodity. India is not like any other country I've seen. This movie makes it clear there are 2 Classes of people there. There are the dirt poor who eat rats on the street and there are the very rich who Step on the dirt course backs so they don't get their alligator shoes wet. Just a very depressing movie about a very sad failure of a culture. Monkey man is a fighter who uses a mask So he stands out from the other fighters. He gets paid to get beat up in the ring. I would not recommend this very depressing movie. There is a reason Indians are migrating to America at unprecedented rates. This movie shows you that reason.
Took mom and my nephew to this tonight in a theater with about 30 people. That's the most crowded movie I've been 2 in a long time. That tells me it's getting good press and good word of mouth. As it should because it was a solid movie great action, rom com. There were a couple of problems with it like the language was terrible for some reason. Is not sure why they need to use the Lord's name in vain about a 100 times. Also there was a rocking 80 soundtrack and one Taylor Swift song for no reason at all. Overall a fun movie though and we all enjoyed it. It reminded me of the fall guy series because it was all about the stunt man.
