This is the worst of all KFP movies. It's boring, not interesting, there is no furious 5, and even then I would be ok with it as this is kids movie. But the voice of Zhen is sooo bad, it's just bad just by itself as just doesn't sound like cartoon caracter but also it doesn't feel like belongs to Zhen. I didn't think it was possible to be annoyed with the voice but apparently it is.
Season 1 - honestly, what a mess. The whole family is just... awful. Everyone's shouting at each other all the time, no one listens, no one communicates - it's pure chaos. Every single character is dysfunctional; there isn't even one person who seems okay or normal. I kept wondering how these people even function as adults in the real world. But fine - maybe there are families like that out there, people dealing with trauma and grief who can't communicate properly. I can accept that.
Then comes Season 2, and things start to look a little better. They decide to open a new restaurant, which in itself is a very questionable decision. Why would they open a high-end, Michelin-style restaurant in that neighborhood? It used to be a simple family place - why not just make it a good local restaurant instead of going all fancy? Anyway, I went along with it.
Now, the main character - The Bear himself - is supposed to be this top-level chef, someone who's worked in world-class kitchens and knows what he's doing. But honestly, he's just creating more chaos. While other characters, like his cousin, other chefs, actually develop and improve - learning, growing, becoming more professional - he seems to go backwards. He's supposed to be the leader, the one who brings order, but he's disorganized, emotional, and all over the place. I honestly don't understand how we're supposed to see him as a brilliant chef when he's such a mess himself.
And then there's Season 3. What even was that? It felt like a complete waste of time - just random scenes, random shots, nothing really happening. It felt like filler, like they were just trying to stretch out the runtime without any real story or progress.
Overall, the show feels a bit like Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsay - except in this case, the "chef" who's supposed to fix everything is the one who needs fixing the most.
So yeah, I don't even know if I'll bother watching Season 4.
