Ok, i wondered why the other viewers had the issues with the lights and were talking about how dark it was and then I watched. Yes, it is so dark even from the beginning on the pier. Is it night time, nope, because if it was they would have had those lights on the outside dining area on. I have no idea why this is so dark even in the police station no police station is that dark you can barely see the actors. Lets hope the other episodes are better.
I so loved watching this movie. I loved that they were able to get Barbara Anderson (Eve), Elizabeth Baur (Fran), Don Galloway (Ed), and Don Mitchell (Mark) all together for this movie. The gang was all there, and I could not be happier. It was so great also to see that the character of Mark has done so well wow I remember him from the first episode of Ironside and how he acted, and here he is a Court Judge loves it when he flips out his badge and says that he is a Judge, so impressive. I also love seeing Raymond Burr, yes, he is in Denver where Perry Mason was also filmed but it does not matter, just loved seeing him in a movie. Loved seeing this movie just wish there was more than one.
I feel this was a great episode because for one thing I have been watching some of these and I do not know if this is in any of the other episodes but we get to see Trixie and Norton's bedroom. Their bedroom is huge to me for the kind of apartment they live in they have twin beds very spread out and a dresser. Their beds though are covered by interestingly enough jungle animal bed spreads print. I was like what, where did that come from, much less the food in the bottom of the nighstand for Norton's snack's.
Their is a funny thing between Ralph and Norton in the bedroom but I will not give away any spoilers.

This is a fascinating episode in itself about the immigration topic. Fran must have gotten a big raise because she actually moved from a one bedroom apartment into a house, and has a maid.
But this showing of how woman immigrants are handled is not great, but it is better than showing them as prostitutes like they usually are shown in television shows in the same situation. They are abused by not getting adequate medical care, and treated horribly, money is taken from them, and they live in a horrible apartment.
I think this is great that back in 1973 Ironside tackled such a subject on television.

11 seasons in and Father Brown is still great. Yes, we all miss the characters of Mrs McCarthy (wish she would come back), and we also miss Sid (loved the character but doesnt he come back every once in a while). I really love having around Lady Felicia every once in a while, her character is great. I absolutely love the episodes that Flambeau are in, OMG he and Father Brown are a hilarious pair. I think though that yes, adding characters that really do not do what they should no secretary for the church and no housekeeper for the church makes it a little funny that Father Brown hired them to do just that, but lets be clear this is a TV show not real life. So for those haters find a different show and quit writing such terrible reviews the show is not that bad its actually a really good show and keeping Sgt Goodfellow is great he finally made Inspector it looks like since he is wearing a suit, and Inspector Sullivan back isnt that bad either.
Oh My Gosh I loved this episode, the only thing missing was Ross Martin as Artemus Gordon. I almost wish they had saved this script for when he came back. Them going back to the academy was so great and the tests they put Jim West (Robert Conrad) through was a little funny, almost like they do someitmes in movies and today's tv shows when someone goes back to the FBI or CIA academy. It was interesting though that Jeremy Pike (Charles Aidman) was able to do a disguise and fool people at the academy, you would think someone would see through that, it made them seem very stupid. It is also interesting that they use hand stamps under a light that have been used by various bars and such for many years, this made me chuckle remembering getting stamps like that too.
Wow I had never seen this before, and loved every minute. Tonight on the Catchy Comedy channel they were showing this little seen pilot episode of the "Dick Van Dyke Show", with the only actor I recognized being the late Carl Reiner. I loved seeing this pilot with them saying Petrie different, and even different actors playing the beloved Sally and Buddy. But I do feel having Rose Marie and Morey Amsterdam were so much the better choice their interactions really made the show a lot better. I think all the changes that were made make the show so much better, even the character of Ritchie. Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore are also such improvements as Rob and Laura in the show with Carl taking up the reins as Alan, and the great addition that was not in the pilot was Richard Deacon as Mel.
I do not really understand, In S2E11 Lucy's College Reunion they went to Lucy's College Reunion to show Chris the campus, so how did Lucy graduate college without having a high school degree???
I mean I know this was made back in the 1960's but wow continuation really was not great, also you would think working for a bank they would have checked all of that before she started working there. How did she get the job working for Mr. Mooney in the other bank if she did not have a High School Diploma???
I guess they were running out of things to do by this season or why else do this. I think I will rate this one a 6.

I have never really written a review for a movie but seeing how this one does not have one, I wanted one written. The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel did a great job with this movie. This movie had it all mystery, love, music, and a great cast. I will not name them all but those that stood out were Pooch Hall, Andrea Lewis, Stan Shaw, and Roz Ryan. The visit to the record store with Tubby (Kevin Wayne) was a great add in to the story too. I will not give any spoilers but wish the original Daffodils singing group characters in the movie were all alive to see the ending. The only thing missing is a sequel, I do not know where they would go but it is a great cast.
