When we're talking about the best movies of this year, this should definitely be if not the top ,towards it! And I'm not talking about Horror movies alone! From the first 10 horrifying minutes I was hooked I knew that the directors were taking this project seriously and I was not wrong. The main actress of the film was extreme to every good way possible meaning that she was asked a lot and she delivered! It's also approved that this film uses its budget wisely. No Crazy jump, scares or special effects or insane, looking monsters. Just more simple and practical and that's I think one of the reasons this movie works. The score was also great and times chilling and the cinematography was pure delight and beautiful to watch. I enjoyed every minute of it, and I would watch it again!!

This movie is a living proof that we don't need Crazy effects or scary, monsters and ghosts or thousands of jump, scares one after the other. This movie has none of those and it's still remains one of the scariest films ever. It's also a really heartbreaking film. Like you are standing on the side, watching a family fall apart and step-by-step, dive into madness. The way this film was shot and written and made makes you feel like you are a part of this family and you watch everything go down being unable to help. A truly intense and disturbing feeling that only a few movies can give. Watched the first time I hated it even though I found it extremely scary. Watch did the second time loved it, even though I found it extremely scary!!

When it comes to movies like this, it can have only two outcomes. Either be great or terrible. In this case, we're not talking about just a great film. We're talking about a masterpiece a horrific masterpiece that stick to my brain since the first time I watched it years ago.. When we're talking about disturbing movies this has to be the top of the list. Very brutal, brave and brilliant. This movie is like a puzzle, but if you put all the pieces together, you get the final result. The acting in this movie is insane. The tension is real. At times It can be really heartbreaking but at the same time really horrifying.. Definitely the most disturbing movie I've ever watched. Imagery of this film is carved in my memory and stayed there and that might sound really bad which in some cases is but in this case, that's what a movie like that should do and that's the exact feeling you should get from it. And I think this movie does this to 100%. Don't regret watching it, but I don't know if I could watch it again!
