Okay granted Blade was an awesome horror/action movie, however this film delivered an all star cast, good action, really good music, a great script for a vampire film, a totally awesome setting and quite frankly this is one of the few vampire films you can watch over and over and still enjoy it. Some may disagree as it has gone from a box office smash, to a cult movie and now to a hot topicified film, but leave the Hot Topic children alone. They just want attention from other people who have seen the movie. The movie was well worth watching and compared to Schumacher's other garbage, this was his zenith. Now if you haven't seen this film, I suggest watching it during a hot summer night with a girlfriend down on the beach.
1. The script was terrible and ruined the dialogues, by adding way too many cheesy lines and jokes that either weren't funny, or necessary. How can you take a series that had a perfect linear way of telling stories and muck it up by adding ridiculous recurring characters and just not sticking to one story at all?!? 2. The Directing was the worst i've yet to see. How can you possibly use these horrendous takes without calling cut? 3. THE BLOODY AWFUL ACTING! You cannot get away with this kind of acting, especially in a follow-up to 2 decent films. The Doctor was absurd, and proved he had no clue what he was doing in a doctor's office. The Cop was almost as bad, I mean come on his uniform looked worse than a Halloween costume, and his attitude was that of an old junky. 4. The effects were the nail in the coffin for me. First off, why use CG blood when fake blood is probably cheaper and definitely more realistic. Second off why the hell was that girl coming out mutated in the universal remote segmant. This might've also had to do with the screenplay, but this film took no effort to explain itself. Four words sum this film up: BOTTOM OF THE BARREL
Bollywood sucks the big one. It's like a malfunctioning machine that keeps spitting out these ridiculous musical romantic comedies, that always end the same way, have generally the same plot, same characters, and same music. They're not original, or brilliant in anyway whatsoever. It's like they don't realize it's bad and they keep wasting money on the same crap. Of course it does appeal to Indians, because these are their films, but I mean can't you at least come up with something better. I mean Bollywood comes out with more movies than Hollywood every year, and they seem to only generally get attention in India, and even in India, International films seem to be more popular than their own (judging by their box office results)I am not a racist in any way whatsoever, in fact I have at least 7 friends who were born in India and came to America during their childhood. I am just a harsh critic, and I certainly hope some writer, or producer finds this and realizes that a change is in need, and not all films have to be musical comedies where a girl and guy serenade each other throughout the film. THERE IS OTHER MATERIAL OUT THERE AND India IS A VERY INSPIRATIONAL COUNTRY!
