If you don't know the lady like I didn't when I watched this terrible show, an hackneyed tokusatsu rendition of your typical, bog-standard harem show with the loser main male lead and multiple women who crap on him constantly written by none other than Dragon Ball GT and Magiranger's Atsushi Maekawa, which makes no sense whatsoever seeing the excellent pedigree of the guy. Makes double, triple no sense considering the constant complaints from the ladies of the show about the main male lead being too obsessed of imaginary characters, the way men like me became obsessed of other imaginary character that passed through the pen of the guy (Pan from Dragon Ball, my first beloved Loli love/waifu of all times). Imaginary characters like the one voiced impeccably by the ubersexy voice of Yui Horie (Alice) who alone is sexier than all the real-life women present in this show thanks to the connection between her incredible voice and the anime character she portrays. Hence, unless you're an hardcore fan of Yui and you must watch everything she has done from the ubermega humble beginnings of her career (she's also present in her real-life persona), avoid this show entirely and search for animes with her voice in or listen to her J-Pop music and you will be better served than trudging through this nothingburger in every sense and meaning.
Don't ask me why, but after the mediocre experience with Mebius months ago I didn't watch another Urutoraman series probably because the Toei tokusatsus and animes took most of my time, so I wasn't invested in Urutoraman as I should have. But, thanks to the stuff taken from this IP (particularly from The Return of Urutoraman and Urutoraman Gaia) that I've seen in Star Twinkle Precure (wives Elena, Lala and Yuni I love you) and the fact that this series wasn't written by hacks Yuji Kobayashi and Keiichi Hasegawa convinced me to give a try. And, guess what? This series is very very good. Of course it doesn't reinvent the wheel since we're talking of Urutoraman A. K. A. Remake the first three showa iterations at nauseam with just small changes inbetween, but the action is great, the acting is good, the suits are great, the OST bangs (the OP particularly is great), some episodes are genuine tearjerkers and it's also not required to have a previous knowledge of the preceding series since it's perfectly understandable as it is. The only thing I don't understand is the recap in episode 13. Was is it really necessary for a 25-episodes series? I don't think so. All in all, highly recommended from me. I give the same rating of Star Twinkle Precure (made the same year of this series, of all things), an 8.
P. S. Unless you're into the Sentai vs. Sentai movies or the useless Keiichi Hasegawa-penned Urutoraman Mebius movies hard, avoid the movie in its entirety and stick to the main series only. Everything you need is there.

Because that's what this ONE HOUR AND A QUARTER LONG movie is, the result of two/three episodes of the regular series slapped together and with a result that drags on and on and on with no real reason to do it. The "story" about a dark Masked Angel alternative to Rosetta neither is particularly enticing to begin with, and the slight nudity and blood elements that are present in here (together with the usual pantyshots, that are as welcomed as before) don't make up for the general boredom this episode gives. I don't understand why they even bothered producing this movie when the original series ended as it should have, but whatever. Thanks to CruelAngelProduction for subbing the entirety of the series. Now, to Vanny Knights!
