The Inner Circle A One Hour Drama for Television THE INNER CIRCLE a dark gritty drama set in Detroit Michigan centers on the lives of rehab patients in a 28 day in patient addiction recovery program. The Brentwood Center for Recovery is a privately owned government funded rehabilitation facility and the brainchild of Founder and Chief Psychiatrist Dr. Ben Taylor. As a labor of love Dr. Ben a 43 year old African American renovated a brownstone opened the doors five years ago and has made it his lifes mission to aid in addiction recovery. THE INNER CIRCLE takes us into the core of addiction and how it affects not just those suffering from it but the people who love them as well. Each day of the 28 day program brings us deeper into each of the group members lives and them closer to understanding the pain and circumstances that lead them to rock bottom. Through intense group therapy, people from different races, religions socio economic backgrounds and multiple generations will bond over the one thing they have in common addiction.
