Sal Mosca: Un-Sung
A short documentary on the legandary jazz pianist, Sal Mosca. This is the one and only film on Mosca who, hailing from the so-called Lennie Tristano school, played with Lee Konitz, Sarah Vaughn, Warne Marsh, Miles Davis, and Kenny Clarke among others. He died shortly after the film was completed. A man of integrity, solitude, beauty and joy, Sal Mosca embodied a spirit and artistry that is rarely seen today.
