Featurette of the ShortCutz Amsterdam Annual Awards ceremony, 2015. Several guests stepped in to inspire and award the new generation of Dutch Cinema: Tom Six (The Human Centipede), Hany Abu-Assad (Paradise Now), Pierre Bokma (The Assault), Hisko Hulsing (Cobain: Montage of Heck), Heddy Honigmann (El Olvido), Remy van Heugten (Gluckauf), Claire Pijman (Buena Vista Social Club), Nanouk Leopold (Guernsey), Lucia Rijker (Million Dollar Baby), EYE's CEO Sandra den Hamer, Maartje Seyferth and Victor Nieuwenhuijs (Vlees). Rutger Hauer received Shortcutz Career Award for his dedication and contribution to cinema at home and abroad and for being a role-model for the new generation. Hauer received the award with a standing ovation following an introduction by Maarten Treurniet. Shortcutz Amsterdam jury was composed of actor Tygo Gernandt, director Roel Reiné, actor Vincent van Ommen, actress Ariane Schluter, director Eddy Terstall, producer Jeroen Koolbergen, producer Jan Doense, producer Harmen Jalvingh, Nederlands Film Festival programmer Claire van Daal, EYE head of programme René Wolf, and street-artist Laser 3.14.
