Henry Lime sells security fences to the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. Henry can't sleep, memory's shot, can't sell. He sees a TV ad for Lazarine, a new anti-depressant/sleep-aid - with minor side-effects like Amanda: invisible to all but him.
