Carlo Verdone is an actor, writer, and director who made his name by making comedy movies throughout the 80s, such as “Fun is Beautiful” (1980), “Bianco, rosso e Verdone” (1981), “Talcum Powder” (1982), “Io e mia sorella” (1987), and “Compagni di scuola” (1988). He went on to direct movies such as “Damned the Day I Met You” (1992), “Let’s Not Keep in Touch” (1994), and “Gallo cedrone” (1998). He starred in the movies “Manual of Love” (2005) and “Manual of Love 2” (2007) as well as the critically acclaimed drama “The Great Beauty” (2013) from director Paolo Sorrentino. Verdone has continued to write, direct, and star in comedy movies throughout his career, including “Me, Them and Lara” (2010), “A Flat for Three” (2012), “The Big Score” (2016), and “Blessed Madness” (2018). He made his small screen debut with the Prime Video and Paramount+ series “Vita da Carlo” a comedy series where he plays himself.
