ONE Championship returns to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 22 with another explosive lineup as ONE Friday Fights 121 goes down live in Asia primetime.
This event features international rising stars from across the globe competing under Muay Thai and MMA rules — all of whom will be battling for a life-changing US$100,000 contract with the world’s largest martial arts organization.
In the main event, Thailand’s Tengnueng Fairtex faces Russia’s Maksim Bakhtin in lightweight Muay Thai action. The 32-year-old Thai veteran brings a fearsome reputation and hasn’t tasted defeat since 2018, with his powerful left body kick making him one of the most dangerous finishers in the division. He faces the undefeated 22-year-old Bakhtin, a three-time Russian Amateur National Champion whose disciplined approach and unorthodox striking style make this a compelling clash of experience versus youth.
In the featured bout, undefeated British-Pakistani sensation Ubaid “Bad” Hussain faces Thailand’s Petnakian Sor Nakian in their highly anticipated 130-pound Muay Thai rematch. Hussain won their first meeting by unanimous decision, but the Thai veteran seeks redemption in this pivotal encounter. The 19-year-old faces the experienced Petnakian, who dreams of opening his own Muay Thai gym and draws inspiration from his idol Seksan Or Kwanmuang.
International talent shines throughout the card as Myanmar’s lethwei specialist Thway Lin Htet takes on two-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Chokpreecha PK Saenchai in the co-main event, while Japan’s Road to ONE winner Shimon Yoshinari faces Thailand’s Pettonglor Sitluangpeenumfon. The MMA portion features Brazil’s Jean Carlos Pereira against Ireland’s Sheagh “Dangerous” Dobbin, with additional fighters from Ukraine and Iran adding to the diverse global lineup.
So, mark your calendar, put a reminder in your phone, and find out how you can watch ONE Friday Fights 121 live on August 22 in more than 190 countries around the globe!
