Pure Green Juice Bar Opens in Orlando

Fuel up on superfoods at this new hotspot where Winter Park meets College Park.

It’s a trend that’s here to stay: cold pressed juices, smoothies and acai bowls continue to be hot. And now, Orlandoans have a great new spot to enjoy them.

Pure Green, the first location of the popular brand outside of NYC, debuted in Orlando on June 1. Local businessman Peter DiPasqua is excited to share the concept with Central Florida. “Pure Green products are outstanding. We’re excited to launch in Orlando,” shares DiPasqua.

A Look Around

The store occupies a spot in the Shoppes of Fairview. Located at the intersection of Fairbanks and Edgewater, the new store offers an inviting, serene space with tables, a window bar—and even some fun, comfy seating.

These include everything from different types of proteins to chia seeds, raw cacao and nut butters, for instance. In addition, the shop offers guidance for customers looking to do a juice cleanse.

A commitment to pure ingredients, with a minimum of processed sugars and other additives, sets Pure Green apart. As a result, every smoothie, bowl and juice is packed with superfoods, sourced responsibly from all over the world. The company strives to bring the best nutrition to the communities they serve.

What We Tried

During our visit to Pure Green, we sampled several delicious and healthy options.

First up, we tried the Pure Pitaya, which features a base of pitaya, or dragonfruit. The vibrant fruit is blended with mango, pineapple, agave and coconut water, before it’s topped with a heap of blueberries, strawberries and a good sprinkle of crunchy hemp granola.

Next, we dug into the bowl that turned out to be my favorite: the Almond Butter & Hemp Acai. This dish features acai blended with banana and almond milk. It’s then topped with a healthy dollop of unsweetened almond milk and hemp granola.

As a result, the bowl offers a less sweet option that’s appealing to guests who prefer something a little more savory.

In addition, we tried a few smoothies as well.

The Skinny Coco blends strawberries, bananas and plant based protein with coconut water for a light and refreshing pick-me-up. Finally, the Blue Royale combines blueberries, almond butter, coconut butter and grass-fed whey with almond milk for a luxurious, creamy treat that serves as a meal.

Bringing the Goodness Home

Before we left, we also loaded up on juices for home.

Trying the fresh flavors of Pure Green during a busy week has been awesome. The zippy Immunity Shot, a bright and lively unsweetened mix of ginger and lemon, wakes you right up! And the Rockin Beet, with its earthy sweetness, is already a family favorite.

As Pure Green continues to carve out its place, look for offerings to expand into steel-cut oatmeal bowls in the near future.

Pure Green is located at 4353 Edgewater Drive, Orlando, FL 32804. Follow them on social @PureGreenFlorida.

Disclosure: We were invited by the Pure Green Orlando team to tour the new location and try menu items at no cost.
