Photo: Sony The PlayStation VR 2 is a powerful virtual-reality headset that works just fine out of the box, but it has plenty of accessories that can add features or help you display or store it. The following PSVR 2 accessories are worth a look. PlayStation VR 2 PC Adapter Sony $60 at Playstation.com The PlayStation VR 2 already has plenty of games available, but the PC adapter adds even more options. This connector works with Steam to let you play VR games from that platform, too This adapter can be a literal game-changer, because it'll let you take on titles that aren't even available on PlayStation. Even better, you can pick them up during Steam's regular sales and get them for a steal. PlayStation VR2 Sense Controller Charging Station Sony $50 at Playstation.com Controller stands are a good idea to keep your gaming space organized and clutter-free. This official charging station for the PSVR 2's Sense Controllers is compact, stylish, and functional. Not only does it give your VR controllers a home when you're not using them, but it can also charge them both simultaneously. Normally, you'd need to run a cable to each controller to power it up, but a single cord runs to this station, and you insert some small dongles into the controllers so you just have to place them in the tray to start them charging. It's a must-have. Pulse Elite Wireless Headset Sony Your PlayStation VR 2 comes with a pair of earbuds so you can fully immerse yourself in the virtual world. They work just fine, but if you don't like earbuds or want to kick the sound quality up several notches, the Pulse Elite Wireless Headset is a good idea. $150 $130 at Playstation.com It fits comfortably over the headset and features noise cancellation and a long battery life. It's a huge upgrade to the built-in headphones, and they even eliminate a cable from your setup. Collective Minds PSVR2 Showcase Charger and Display Stand Collective Minds $30 at Amazon This combination charger and display stand does the same thing as the first-party cradle, but it also has a spot for the headset. You don't need to charge it like you do the Sense controllers, but it looks pretty sharp perched on there. This product doesn't take up any extra space, it's convenient, and it's functional, so if you just have your headset and controllers in a drawer somewhere or sitting on your entertainment center, they'll look better here. VR Protector Cover Set for PlayStation VR2 Amazon $22 $18 at Amazon Whether you play your PlayStation VR 2 every day or let it sit for a while between sessions, a cover set like this one may not be a bad idea. The lens covers alone should protect the eye-pieces from dust, grime, and direct sunlight, all of which can cause serious damage to your gear. This set includes a cover for the front of the PSVR 2, along with a piece for the face cushion, lens covers, and thumb grips for the the controllers. It aims to both reinforce the headset and make it more comfortable to use, and all of the pieces are made of silicone for more cushioning and ease of cleaning. CMP2 Comfortable Mod for PSVR 2 Globular Cluster $50 at Amazon Sony designed the PlayStation VR 2 to fit both snugly and comfortably, but some users might want a little extra support and cushion. This insert goes around the inside of the "headband" and claims to provide more support, stability, and grip. The padding on both the front and back aims to be more comfortable than the stock band. The overhead strap should add stability and better weight distribution if you have an issue with the headset "slipping" while you use it. PowerA Storage Case PowerA $60 at Playstation.com You may not need (or want) your PlayStation VR 2 on display all the time. You might also want to take it somewhere. This case provides a snug, protective storage and travel solution for both your headset and controllers. Not everyone wants to show off their gear, but the PowerA storage case provides a cozy home for the PSVR 2 when you aren't gaming. Was this page helpful? Thanks for letting us know!
