I follow these tricks: 1. It's not at all necessary to know your classmates but tomorrow they can help you shifting a job 🤣 2. You never know which of your team mates can promise to spend their life with you 😍 And then start mingling...

Ask your incoming students (before the 1st day of class) to fill out a "Get to know each other" survey. You can share how you can teach best (e.g., when students arrive on time, when they aren't on their phones) and they can share how they learn best (e.g., visuals, real world examples). Ask students what you can do to help them succeed. They're happy to share what you can do to help them succeed and their suggestions are quite reasonable (e.g., repeat information, use examples). Don't guess or assume anything, because each class is going to be unique. Ask each student and check back throughout the semester to see how everyone is doing. But, only ask and check back if you're prepared to do something productive with their feedback.

Implementing personalized learning through AI-based platforms can revolutionize how we engage diverse learners. AI can tailor educational experiences by analyzing individual learning styles, strengths, and challenges. By using adaptive learning tools, students receive customized content that adjusts in real-time, catering to their pace and understanding. These platforms can provide differentiated assignments, suggest supplementary resources, and offer personalized feedback, ensuring each student is supported in their unique learning journey. Additionally, AI can track progress and identify areas needing reinforcement, allowing teachers to focus on targeted interventions. This fosters an environment for learners to excel at their own pace.

Here’s a streamlined approach: ✅ Understand students' backgrounds and learning styles. ✅ Use diverse teaching methods like visual aids and group work. ✅ Apply Universal Design for Learning (UDL) for multiple engagement methods. ✅ Use adaptive tech for personalized content and feedback. ✅ Encourage inclusive activities and discussions. ✅ Continuously adjust based on feedback and performance. Flow Chart: 🔄 Understand → Implement → Apply → Use → Encourage → Adjust Tip: 💡 Leverage UDL and Adaptive Learning for effective teaching.

An ice breaking session in the beginning of the class helps students to know each other. Every student has some distinct skills set and the classroom should effectively utilise those during discussions, case study deliberations and simulations.

What I would do is start with the basics broken down into contextual chunks for every mind to grasp and have Q/A time slotted between the linking concepts. Also practical's and videos with sketches on the board/ipad also help out a lot to get the concepts across everyone. Diagrams and flow carts made easy for the students help them understand better in my opinion.
