I'm happy to announce that we've released pyuvm 4.0.0. 4.0.0 supports cocotb 2.0 and captures the work of a long list of contributors. We are getting closer to the much-awaited release of cocotb 2.0! This new major version makes writing and understanding cocotb testbenches easier than ever -- at the cost of requiring some (minor) updates to your testbenches. Try the beta version of cocotb 2.0 today with your testbenches and let us know how the upgrade went. It’s with a mixture of pleasure, relief and trepidation that I’m glad to announce the initial release of the Apheleia Verification Library (AVL). Their suggestions and patience have been invaluable. I’m sure there will be teething issues, enhancements and general questions, so please be patient, but I’ll try and get through these as soon as possible. As an open source project this has been developed on Verilator (https://lnkd.in/eJVU_R-m) using GTKWave (https://lnkd.in/ex_R68ec) and Surfer (https://lnkd.in/eKCEhJ6b) on a shop bought Intel I7 laptop. It’s primarily been developed using VSCode (https://lnkd.in/d89eUBW) on both native Ubuntu (https://ubuntu.com/) or under WSL (https://lnkd.in/gmva_3BU).
