Charities don’t need more data. We need faster, deeper insights without cutting corners. At WONDER Foundation, our Mwangaza Project reached 801 women in Kenya. Women who started businesses, doubled their savings, and improved their families life chances. But behind those numbers were hundreds of interviews, mentor logs, and counselling notes. Turning that into evidence used to take months, far too slow to adapt in real time. That’s why we turned to CoLoop, an AI-powered platform for impact evaluation and qualitative research. Here is what it means for charities: ✅ Cuts weeks of analysis into days ✅ Surfaces hidden patterns across subgroups ✅ Compares projects across years and locations ✅ Strengthens donor reporting with real voices and visuals ✅ Keeps data secure, GDPR-compliant, and ethical And here’s the real breakthrough: efficiency without losing quality. AI handles the repetitive coding and sorting. Humans stay focused on interpretation, validation, and action. The result? More voices heard, fewer blind spots, stronger insights. My challenge to peers in the sector: When was the last time your evaluation changed how you worked during a project, not just after? If you are curious about using AI in monitoring and evaluation, please connect! We owe it to the communities we serve to not just collect data, but to listen and adapt faster, and better. #CharityInnovation #ImpactMeasurement #AIforGood #SocialImpact #NonprofitLeadership

The engineering team have hit the bullseye this sprint 🪓 We've been hard at working talking to customers and shipping code. Here's what we've got coming for you in the next few weeks ... 1/ Transcription: More accurate in technical fields and low-resource languages. 2/ Concept Detection: Improved detection in interviews and chatbot data. 3/ Clip Editing: Stitch clips in CoLoop into production-ready reels. 4/ Comparative Analysis: Detailed breakdowns of similarities and differences in research. Thank you to everyone for your continue input and support developing these updates & looking forward to shipping them 🛳️

Ever spent hours making the perfect pitch deck… only to realize halfway through that the person you’re talking to isn’t even the one who makes the final call? That’s like serving a gourmet steak to a vegan — no matter how amazing it is, it’s just not right for them. "Audience mismatch mistake: are you pitching past your key decision-makers? Here’s how to hit the bull’s-eye!" The Breakdown — How to Make Data Irresistible to the Right People ➡️ Map Out Your Stakeholder Landscape Before opening your slide software, list every type of person who’ll see your deck. Are they CFOs who care about cost savings? Marketing heads who live for engagement rates? Or operations managers focused on efficiency? Knowing who cares about what is your first step to relevance. ➡️ Tailor Your Content to the Right Level The C-suite doesn’t want to sift through every chart and graph — they need the big-picture impact. “Will this save us money? Will it grow revenue?” Analysts, on the other hand, love the data details — methodology, sample size, exact numbers. Give each group the depth they need, not the depth you love. ➡️ Build Personas to Anticipate Concerns Create mini “profiles” of your audience members — their goals, their pain points, and what language resonates with them. If you’re talking to procurement, focus on ROI and timelines. If it’s marketing, speak in terms of reach, engagement, and brand lift. ➡️ Test Your Draft With a Real Stakeholder Before going live, find someone who represents your target audience and walk them through your deck. They’ll spot blind spots you can’t see because you’re too close to the content. ➡️ Iterate Until Every Slide Hits Home Feedback isn’t failure — it’s your shortcut to precision. Refine your slides until each one feels like it was made just for the person seeing it. The next time you pitch, don’t just present data — deliver impact to the people who matter most. Data doesn’t speak for itself: it needs a voice. AI and analytics can churn out dashboards, charts, and endless streams of metrics. But on their own, these are just numbers without meaning. In our recent webinar, Sean Campbell, CEO of Cascade Insights explains what transforms numbers into insight is human interpretation. ➡️ Humans bring what algorithms can’t—context. We understand cultural nuances, industry dynamics, and behavioral shifts that no chart alone can explain. Take this example: a dataset may show a sudden drop in customer engagement. An algorithm can flag the decline, maybe even correlate it to certain behaviors. But it takes a researcher to connect the dots, was it seasonal buying habits, a competitor’s campaign, or shifting consumer sentiment? ➡️ That’s where storytelling comes in. Researchers act as translators, turning raw data into clear narratives that stakeholders can relate to, remember, and act upon. Because a chart might show what happened, but a story explains why it matters. In today’s era of automation, this role is more critical than ever. Machines can accelerate data processing, but it’s human interpretation that bridges the gap between information and strategy. The real competitive edge isn’t in the data you have—it’s in how you make sense of it. Comment "Data" for the full webinar link.

Ray Poynter took CoLoop for a spin. Check out his thoughts below 👇
At the intersection of work, fun & discovery, and woke. My coda: "Be kind, keep learning, share knowledge, enjoy life, and try to make a little money along the way".
Do you know about CoLoop for qualitative analysis? https://lnkd.in/ehnweH8C I recently had the pleasure of a demonstration of CoLoop, an AI-powered platform for analysing qualitative information, for example depth interviews and focus group transcripts. In the session, Jack Bowen, founder and CEO of CoLoop took me through the key features. You can read my blog about the demonstration at https://lnkd.in/ehnweH8C Or, you can jump straight to the YouTube recording of our session at https://lnkd.in/eqy4PKxi Basically, CoLoop helps qualitative researchers do their job better and faster by providing them with the tools organise information, dig deep and explore strands. If you conduct qualitative analysis, I recommend checking it out. You can find out more about CoLoop and book a demo at https://lnkd.in/esQwTTza. Aron Lewis
