The nurse took us back and the table was really high. But they expect you to get up on it. The nurse complimented my client on her ability to get up on the table. She turned to the nurse and said, ‘I'm little but mighty.’ We all started laughing. Most days are like that: laughter and making a positive difference in their lives, and yours too. My advice as a caregiver: the simple act of caring is heroic. Love and care make a difference. 🌟 Since 1990, Consumer Direct Care Network Montana (CDMT) and Nightingale Nursing Services (NNS) have proudly delivered in-home nursing and caregiving services across Montana. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the success of these programs! 🌟 From humble beginnings in our founder’s garage in Missoula, MT, to becoming part of the nationwide Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) serving 14 states, CDMT has grown to support a large group of Direct Support Professionals (DSP) and clients, including approximately 450 DSPs, 16 nurses, and 650 members across Montana! Janessa, a long-time employee, shares: “Over 30 years ago, we began operations out of a garage that grew over three decades into the Consumer Direct Care Network! I got the opportunity to join this team nearly 16 years ago and have witnessed pure, genuine compassion – the kind of deep-rooted compassion that puts heart into all that we do and relentlessly advocates for better care and better pay and benefits for caregivers and nurses. Exceptional work demands an exceptional team and these teams, from direct care workers all the way up to the owners and president, show up every day to do exceptional work that allows people to live the lives they want and remain in their homes and communities.
