  • 🚨 Only 1 in 10 managers receives advanced training to handle #layoffs. Our latest #CareerTransitionSupportIndex report highlights a critical gap: most managers are not fully prepared to deliver difficult news or support employees through career changes. This can leave employees feeling unprepared, stressed, and disconnected, while managers themselves struggle with how to communicate effectively. Providing proper training in career transition and outplacement support isn’t just good for employees. It protects your company’s culture and reputation and helps retain trust among remaining teams. 📊 𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁. 📥 Download the full report (first comment) #HR #CareerTransition #EmployeeSupport #Leadership #Outplacement #WorkplaceCulture #Careerminds

  • Real talk about AI in HR 👇 AI isn’t replacing HR. But HR teams who use #AI well are already getting ahead. It’s not about replacing people, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻. Recruiting, learning, reporting… almost every HR function can move faster with the right tools. The real advantage? Learning to partner with AI, not compete with it. Now I’m curious where you’re actually applying it the most today. #FutureOfWork #AIinHR #HRLeaders #HRTech #WorkforceInnovation #FutureReady #TalentStrategy #HRTransformation

  • To wrap up #StressAwarenessWeek, let's talk about a simple truth: misaligned work can create unnecessary #stress. When employees are stuck in roles that don't match their strengths, stress becomes inevitable. They're working harder, not smarter, and #burnout follows. The solution? 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Also called #JobCrafting, it's the practice of adjusting a role's responsibilities to align with an employee's actual abilities and strengths. The results speak for themselves: 👉 20% boost in engagement (Gallup) 👉 Higher performance and job satisfaction 👉 Reduced stress and turnover Think about it: when people do work that plays to their strengths, tasks feel less draining. They're more energized, more engaged, and far less likely to burn out. 💬 How does your organization approach job personalization? #JobPersonalization #EmployeeEngagement #WorkplaceWellbeing #EmployeeExperience #HRLeadership #Careerminds

  • Proud to sponsor the conversations that move #leadership forward. Our team member Christa Hurchalla shared key takeaways from Donna Hicks' session at the PSPS: Philadelphia Society of People & Strategy Leadership Forum: dignity in leadership isn't just common sense, it requires intentional, daily practice. As Donna said, "our own awareness requires the eyes of others." The best leaders don't just give feedback; they actively seek it and create environments where honest dialogue happens naturally. How is your organization turning dignity from a principle into practice?

Amazing, insightful, and thought-provoking session with Donna Hicks about #dignity and #leadership at the 19th annual PSPS: Philadelphia Society of People & Strategy Leadership Forum which Careerminds is happy to sponsor. So many takeaways and learnings about how, as leaders, “our own awareness requires the eyes of others” (thoughtful feedback - giving, soliciting, and receiving- is key) and although treating others with dignity is (or should be) common sense but that doesn’t mean it is always common practice. How are you creating a culture of dignity in your organization?

  • 💡 Myths vs Reality – HR Edition This week's myth: 𝗨𝗽𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 Some leaders still believe upskilling is only worth it for top talent… or that investing in development just accelerates exits. Let's talk about #FOBO (Fear of Being Obsolete). It's real, and it's affecting employees at every level. But here's the truth: upskilling isn't about preventing people from leaving. It's about giving them reasons to stay. When you invest in growth, you transform "at-risk" talent into "ready" talent. You build 𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆, not just 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀. 👉 Swipe through our carousel to see the most common myths we still hear today and the reality HR needs to lead into. Come back next Thursday for the next myth! 💬 Got a myth you'd like us to cover? Drop it in the comments; we might feature it next. #Careerminds #MythVSReality #HRLeadership #Upskilling #CareerDevelopment #EmployeeRetention #LearningAndDevelopment #WorkplaceCulture #CareerGrowth

  • ❤️🩹 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. Our #LayoffTransparencyIndex indicates that HR teams are trying to communicate layoffs with care. And people notice: 38% of laid-off workers and 44% of those who stayed said the tone felt empathetic. But kind words alone are not enough. 👉 Only 28% said leadership was fully transparent about 𝘸𝘩𝘺 layoffs happened. 👉 Half got some information, but key details were missing. 👉 23% said the communication wasn’t transparent at all. 👉 And 22% heard different messages depending on who they spoke with. 𝗦𝗼 𝘆𝗲𝘀: 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁. The real question: Are leaders just trying to soften the news, or are they being honest about what’s actually happening? #Layoffs #EmployeeCommunication #HRLeadership #Transparency #Empathy

  • 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆. It’s #InternationalStressAwarenessWeek and our research shows a major driver of stress that’s being ignored. We surveyed 1,000+ U.S. workers, and remote employees are struggling: 48% feel overlooked for promotions. Only 17% get access to leadership programs. And 60% have considered leaving their jobs. This isn’t just about skills. It affects well-being. When you're remote and watch in-office colleagues get opportunities you don't, it creates a cycle of stress: ❌ You feel invisible ❌ You overwork to prove your commitment ❌ You blur boundaries to stay "visible" ❌ You worry about your future ❌ You burn out Remote employees don’t want special treatment. They want equal access to growth, based on performance, not proximity. This #StressAwarenessWeek, let’s remember: equitable development pathways not only retain talent, but also lower stress and protect mental health. 👉 Swipe through the carousel to see how this gap impacts remote employees. #RemoteWork #MentalHealth #Upskilling #EmployeeWellbeing #CareerDevelopment

  • 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸: 25% of your current work tasks could be automated right now. Not someday. Today. With existing technology. On Friday, we talked about the fear. Today, let's talk about action. Be honest, what have you ACTUALLY done to AI-proof your career? 👉 Vote below. No judgment, just reality. #AI #CareerDevelopment #SundayThoughts #FutureOfWork

But here's the plot twist: while AI is expected to displace 9 million jobs by 2050, it's also projected to create 11 million new ones. The real fear shouldn't be AI itself; it's being unprepared for what's next. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆? Having a plan. Organizations that invest in upskilling, reskilling, and supporting their workforce through these transitions won't just survive; they'll thrive. At Careerminds, we help companies navigate workforce changes with compassion and strategy, ensuring employees are equipped for the AI-powered future. Ready to turn workplace fear into career confidence? Let's talk about how we can help your team adapt and grow.
