This morning we hosted our final partner meeting of the year with a special gratitude event focused on community service and connection. ❤️ Thank you to Crowne Plaza Lansing for hosting and providing a delicious fall-inspired lunch! We were grateful to have Shirley M Carter-Powell from Against All Odds share how her nonprofit supports cancer survivors and minority and underserved families in our community. After lunch, partners assembled Christmas gift bags to help brighten the holiday season for local families. Thank you to our partners for joining us, to Crowne Plaza for the warm hospitality, and to Shirley for the incredible work she does in Greater Lansing. We’re grateful for this community and the difference we can make together! 🙌

The Destination Michigan Showcase celebrated its 20th year this week, right where it all began, at Eagle Eye Golf & Banquet Centers! Stephanie Wohlfert, CMP, CTA, Jessica Wilk, and Dani Johnson, CTA represented Choose Lansing with a Tinker Bell–inspired booth featuring sea moss smoothies and a touch of edible glitter. 💫 It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with meeting planners and industry partners across the state, and to honor Kim Eddings Corcoran, M.Ed., CMP, CTA for her incredible contributions to Destination Michigan and our industry. 💚

The Greater Lansing Food Bank plays a vital role in our community, and today our team was grateful to help out for a couple of hours.
