A modern format of presentations. Deliver impressive, interactive stories without the design guesswork.

About us

Chronicle is a presentation format for modern teams. We are changing the way people craft and tell compelling stories every day. Chronicle will enable teams to communicate, capture thoughts, ideas and decisions without spending hours designing slides. Chronicle is not trying to make presentation software that makes slides better or faster, but rather trying to reimagine the format completely. Remember the last time you were making a presentation and it took hours? We are solving a problem that has plagued workplaces since the '80s: presentations! We are asking the question - what would be the ideal format of communication in context of 2023 if slides didn't exist?

Most founder content is either "I just raised" or "here's how we got to $10M ARR." Very little gets shared about the middle: the months (or years now) where you're building, iterating, killing things that don't work, and genuinely unsure if you're on the right path. That's been most of Chronicle's journey. We've spent years in that space, rebuilding, testing, learning what serious presenters actually need, and trying to hold conviction while competitors moved faster and the market shifted around us. The hardest part wasn't the rebuilds or the technical challenges. It was the psychological weight of being in motion without obvious momentum. Knowing you're building toward something meaningful, but having very little external validation for a long time. I don't have clean lessons. But a few things helped: 1. Staying close to a small group of users who genuinely cared about what we were building. Their feedback kept us grounded when everything else felt uncertain. 2. Writing constantly: internal memos, specs, rationale for decisions. It forced clarity when doubt crept in. 3. And protecting space for craft, even when it felt inefficient. The details we obsessed over became the foundation for what's working now. The messy middle doesn't make for great content when everything on this platform is about success stories. But it's where most of the actual building happens. It should be worth acknowledging.

This is the slide almost everyone overthinks. It doesn’t need to be complicated. Here are a few clean structures you can steal: 1/ New category creation Show the world the “shape” of your space by placing your product against the old way. 2/ Feature comparison table A classic, honest, side-by-side on what each product and feature actually does. 3/ Landscape map (X/Y axis) Plot the players. Great for showing where the gaps and opportunities sit. 4/ Before / After One slide, split down the middle: the landscape without you vs. with you. 5/ Market map (grid) A simple 2x3 grid grouping who’s doing what in your ecosystem. 6/ Competitor battle-cards Full-page deep dives. Perfect for a data room or enablement pack. 7/ “Why users choose us” Keep it simple with three clean metrics that matter to buyers. Sometimes that's all you need. A well-framed competitor page changes how people interpret every slide after it. If people understand the landscape, they’ll understand your value. You don't need to tell them your product is better.

We’ve been adding a few small quality of life things to Chronicle lately: snaplines, smart swapping, tiny bits of polish that make our canvas feel smoother. They may not be big launches, but they’re the kind of details we obsess over. Good tools feel different in the small moments, not just the headline features. And when our users tell us they notice those corners of craft... it means a lot. Always trying to make the product feel a little more considered than it was the week before.
