What. A. Year 🤩 2025...here we come!!
On 12/31, we locked in our 22nd hire of 2024 & finished w/ $412k in revenue after only spending $21,673 in expenses (excluding payroll). Better yet, we increased our revenue each quarter from $40k to $80k to $89k to $202k :) No pressure for Q1 2025! A year ago, Jake & I dreamt big as we schemed up ClosedWon Talent and I'm proud of the viable (& profitable) business we've built. In 2024, we made our first angel investment (Winrate), squirreled away a sizable % of our revenue for future growth, & added 2 amazing teammates (Mark and Kaylie!) This business was built on a $4k investment and we truly believe we're in a position to have a huge 2025. I was scared sh!tless to take this entrepreneurial leap of faith with a family to support and am SO glad I did even though I took home less $$ than I would have if I worked at an established company. BUT… I knew 2024 would be our building year. Now it's time to reap the rewards of all our hard work. It's go time! I'm sharing these very personal details in the hopes it helps someone else take the leap to build something new. Here's to 2025 - I hope everyone reading this has the best year of their lives (personally & professionally!!) And for all the early-stage startups looking to hire very specific salespeople & GTM experts, let's chat!
