This is exactly why we’re building the Crawl4AI Cloud API. Open source gives you power and flexibility, but when something breaks upstream at 2am, you are on the hook to debug, patch, and ship under pressure. Cloud is about removing that burden. We absorb the operational risk, eliminate single points of failure, and keep your pipelines running so you can focus on building, not firefighting. It is not just hosting. It is reliability on top of OSS.
Litellm, a widely-used dependency for LLM provider routing, was recently compromised by malicious code injected on PyPI who responded by quarantining the entire package. The Crawl4AI team jumped on it and audited the entire codebase, forked the last safe version and tested / repackaged it under their own PyPI account with a published fix within an hour at 11pm SGT. One of them was on honeymoon when they fixed this. Their hosted cloud API product is in beta, excited for when they launch. https://lnkd.in/gDHydcJi
